I’ve never been very good at buying things just because they’re cheap.
I’d rather wait, save and buy the piece I really love. The one that feels good, wears well and still
makes me happy every time I pull it out.
That thinking is a big part of InCommonStore.
I’m Sally, and after years working across retail, buying, sales and business development, I finally get to choose things entirely my own way.
And I’m fussy. In a good way.
I look at everything, the quality, the fabric, the cut, the finish, the packaging, the imagery, the scent,
the feel of it in real life.
If it’s clothing, I try it on before I order it.
If the cut is wrong, it’s out.
If the packaging lets it down, I notice.
If it looks beautiful online but doesn’t live up to it in person, I’m not interested.
Because for me, quality isn’t one thing.
It’s all of it.
InCommonStore is built around finding brands and products that feel worth owning.
Some are investment pieces.
Some are just ridiculously cool.
Some are things you probably haven’t seen before, maybe because I found the brand somewhere completely different, or because it hasn’t made its way into every other store yet.
And yes, sometimes I’ll stock something you’ve seen before too.
Because if something is genuinely good, I’m not going to ignore it just to be different.
What matters is that I believe in it.
I’ve always been very visual. I can look at something and immediately picture where it belongs in a
room, on someone, packed for a trip, wrapped as a gift, or becoming one of those things you reach
for all the time.
