Eau Bags
Growing up in Brisbane with a French father and an Aussie mum, sisters Olivia and Claudine truly had the best of both worlds - a love of European elegance and a down-to-earth Australian spirit. Their first business venture? A shopfront on the front lawn, selling whatever they could get their hands on. Old newspapers, books, trinkets…if it had a story and some value, they could sell it.
That early passion for creating, curating, and connecting never faded. Sustainability, style, and business were always at the heart of their ambitions, eventually evolving into something bigger, bolder, and infinitely more stylish: EAU BAGS.
The name itself - EAU [pronounced “oh”] - is French for “water,” a nod to their heritage and a reflection of the fluid, effortless style they bring to every piece.
From the start, the vision was clear: turn waste into something wonderful. Every EAU BAG is slow-made and handmade in India from recycled nylon rescued from landfill, transformed into a premium, thick-weave fabric that feels as good as it looks. The result is a bag that’s equal parts sustainable, practical, versatile, and EAU-so fun - the kind you carry everywhere, with everything, for years to come.
